The apartment

Historic charm and sweeping views.

Casa Rex sits on the edge of the old village centre of Brissago Piodina, about 180 metres above Lake Maggiore. This two-room apartment offers a cosy retreat with a private balcony in an established historic village.

The living room and bedroom are on two levels, connected by a somewhat steep internal staircase. Guests have the entire apartment to themselves. The small bathroom has a shower.

In Piodina, narrow lanes wind between centuries-old houses. Walking trails start right by the village; the lake is about a 15-minute walk downhill.

Discover Piodina

Above the lanes. Close to the lake.

Piodina is a protected, historic, car-free part of Brissago. Paths between the houses lead into chestnut woods and to other historic hamlets. Down by the lake, you will find lakeside walks and places to swim.

Arriving by car offers the most flexibility. The Piodina bus stop is about 100 metres away; route 8 runs infrequently.
